Join Online Group Supervision beginning April 30th


These sessions provide an opportunity to discuss & reflect on your practice.

A space to grow and develop as a practitioner and to learn and connect with peers.

An ongoing group of 6x 90 minute sessions over 6 months with a maximum of 6 participants. This means that membership remains the same over 6 months, providing a stable & safe space to reflect on practice and develop connections with other practitioners.

All sessions will happen on Zoom.

Sessions will be facilitated by Liz Andrew-Brake who has been providing supervision for the last 10 years.

These sessions are best for Practitioners such as Social Workers, Case Workers, School Counsellors and others in the helping professions.

Hi, I'm Liz

I am an AASW accredited Social Worker, a Supervisor & Coach. I have worked in the child protection sector for the past 16 years and providing supervision for the last 10 years.

I am passionate about supporting Social Workers, Case Workers and those in the helping professions to have strong long lasting careers in the industry, where they stay passionate and inspired without sacrificing their personal well being.

Supervision is critical in ensuring you have a strong career, as it provides education, support, reflection and growth. Group supervision is a great mode of support and learning, providing connection with peers and can be a cost effective method supervision as well.

Follow this link to sign up. Once you have done this then Liz will contact you and send you an enrolment form to complete.


How does group supervision work?

Each session has an educative component with group reflection and discussion (facilitated by Liz). Followed by topics and challenges brought by group members.

You will receive a reminder email a few days prior to each session reminding you to prepare a topic you want to bring to supervision. 1-2 people will get an opportunity to discuss their topic and using various supervision models Liz will guide discussion.


What topics do I bring to group supervision?

There are a range of things you might want to bring, a particular challenge you are facing (with a client or in the workplace), an ethical dilemma, you want to reflect on something you have learnt, discuss a particular theory or discuss managing your professional wellbeing.


Do I need to be working in child protection to sign up?

No, this group is open to a variety of roles including Social Workers, Domestic and Family violence workers, Case Workers, mental health professionals and other helping professionals. The great benefit of group supervision is that you learn from other's expertise and diverse knowledge.


How do I prepare for group supervision?

It is recommended that during the month prior to supervision that you keep a journal of things that you might want to discuss. You are encouraged to bring a topic that you want to discuss each session.


Can I get a refund if I'm no longer able to attend?

The is a set group over 6 months, with no new people joining. To ensure commitment to the group and to the group process, no refund is available once you have signed up. For this reason please check the dates of the sessions and ensure you are available.


I am going to miss a session can I get a refund or have a make up session?

No, once you have signed up for the group sessions no refund or make up sessions are available. For this reason please check your availability for the dates in advance and plan accordingly.
